Nissan
With the new Z car, GT-R and Altima, Nissan has shown a perfomance focus and the Next Generation Quest concept continues that theme. A sleek cabin with a flowing beltline, large 20-inch wheels and short overhangs give the minivan the look of a smaller "sport wagon." Features not visible in the illustration include a power operated bi-fold tailgate for easy cargo access, a glass roof to illuminate the cabin and a "pop-up" roof rack. Interior design follows the current minimalist, slimline trend, but will contuniue standard minivan themes of convenient, efficient storage with overhead bins, central information center and rear-seat entertainment.

2002 Infiniti FX45 Concept

Nissan
For Infiniti Nissan reveals a second generation FX45 concept. With a rear pillar reminiscent of the Mercedes CL-class coupé, cockpit style seating for four, and a "300+ horsepower 4.5 liter V8", the FX45 focuses on the "sport" aspect of sport utility vehicle. Nissan describes the exterior design as continuing a "Bionic Cheetah" theme, but the large grille and Infiniti badge and the narrow headlights give the small SUV a warthog aspect that is perhaps even more appropriate for this class.
